At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located over Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Thursday ridge located over the Maritimes.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued3:13 PM ADT 7 August 2024 As of 3:00 P.M. ADT tropical storm Debby was at 32.4 degrees northand 79.1 degrees west, or about 46 nautical miles east-southeast of
Charleston, South Carolina. It was moving northeast at 2 knots.
Central pressure was 995 MB and the maximum sustained winds were 50
knots.
Some additional strengthening is forecast while the center of Debby
remains offshore. Weakening is expected Thursday night and Friday
after expected landfall over Southern Carolina. Latest guidance
suggest that strong winds with possible gales are expected over the
marine district this weekend associated with Debby.
